FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What is Mommy Moo?

Mommy Moo is a safe and home-like childcare center where children can learn, play, rest, and be cared for while their parents work, run errands, or simply need extra support.

  • What ages do you accept?

Mommy Moo accepts children from 1 year old and up. We assess each child’s developmental needs, behavior, and care requirements to ensure we can provide the appropriate level of supervision.

  • Do I need to book in advance?

Yes! We highly recommend booking in advance, especially during peak hours and for overnight stays, so we can ensure that enough staff are available to care for every child but we also accept walk ins.

  • Is Mommy Moo open 24 hours?

Not at the moment. Mommy Moo is currently open from 6:30 AM to 9:00 PM. If you’re interested in overnight or late-night childcare, please let us know! Your inquiries help us determine when we can officially launch our night shift.

We have two staff members per shift, with a maximum ratio of six children per staff member.

  • What happens if my child needs one-on-one supervision?

We’re sorry, but we’re currently unable to accept children who require continuous one-on-one supervision due to our current staffing setup. We hope to offer this service as Mommy Moo grows.

We offer a free assessment to understand your child’s needs. If we determine that our staff can safely manage and support your child while continuing to care for the other children, we would be happy to welcome them to Mommy Moo.

Our staff are not yet equipped to provide the specialized support required by children with certain special needs, including autism, at this time. We hope to expand our capabilities as Mommy Moo grows.

For everyone’s safety, children showing symptoms of a contagious illness may not be accepted for daycare. If your child becomes unwell while at Mommy Moo, we will contact you immediately.

  • What if my child gets injured?

Our staff will provide appropriate first aid and promptly notify the parent or authorized guardian. In an emergency, we will contact the appropriate emergency services and the child’s emergency contact immediately.

Parents are expected to provide their child’s personal essentials, such as diapers, wipes, extra clothes, bottles, and other necessary items, unless these are included in a specific package.
